PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To circulate necessary sufficient amount of refrigerant even if a length of refrigerant piping is shortened or lengthened in a split type air conditioner having a specification of no charge. SOLUTION: A refrigerating circuit is formed to circulate a refrigerant charged in an outdoor unit 20 between the unit 20 and an indoor unit 10 through refrigerating pipings 51, 52 by connecting the unit 20 previously charged with refrigerant and arranged outdoor to the unit 10 arranged indoor by the pipings 51, 52. A refrigerant amount regulator 30 is provided to shorten the piping 51 of a high pressure side and the piping 52 of a low pressure side of the circuit to regulate a difference of the amounts of the necessary refrigerant in the circuit depending upon a length of the like of the pipings 51, 52.
