PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for receiving the data of an original from a customer and executing operation such as the reading and correction of design and block copy data and the check of correcting positions through an on-line. SOLUTION: A customer's terminal 10 transmits the data of an original to be printed to a center device 20. The center 20 prepares block copy data based on the original data and transmits the block copy data to the terminal 10. Then the terminal 10 displays and corrects the block copy data transmitted from the center 20, prepares correction instruction data and transmits the data to the center 20. The center 20 prepares block copy data based on the correction instruction data. Then the center 20 prepares correcting position data on the basis of the uncorrected and corrected block copy data, prepares correction checking data including at least the corrected block copy data, the correction instruction data and the correcting position data and transmits the prepared data to the terminal 10.
