PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of image defect such as the unevenness of pitch and banding by using a vibration attenuating element in the case of constituting a pressure means when a developing means is pressured to abut on a photoreceptor drum. SOLUTION: This process cartridge is constituted by coupling a developing unit D where a toner frame body and a developing frame body 12 are bonded with a cleaning unit CL rotatably with a coupling pin as a supporting point. Both ends of a compression coil spring 23 are respectively inserted in a bar-like spring stopper 13b of a cleaning frame body 13 and a bar-like spring stopper 12a of the developing frame body 12 so as to be in a compressed state, and the cleaning frame body 13 is energized counterclockwise and the developing frame body 12 is energized clockwise centering a hole 20 in which the coupling pin is inserted so as to press-contact a photoreceptor drum 7 and spacer rollers at both ends of a developing roller 9c. The spring 23 is a stainless wire and a hollow cushioning member 101 is integrally formed coaxially with the coil of the spring 23 so as to cover the entire coil. Hard neobutylene rubber is used as the material of the member 101.
