PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest controlling material needing no extra fitting means, easily attachable and at the same time hard to be removed from the foot part. SOLUTION: The pest controlling material 20 of the present invention comprises a cup-shaped formed body containing a pest controlling agent and having a side part 21 and a bottom part 25, and has a storing part 23 having an upper opening. The main body 1 of a vending machine has four foot parts 13 formed at the four corners whose bottoms have each an adjusting bolt 15, and is supported on a floor 10. Before the vending machine is installed, the foot parts 13 are covered with the pest controlling materials 20. This enables the fixing of the pest controlling materials 20 so that they cover the whole of the foot parts 13 on the floor 10. Hence, the pest controlling material 20 is easily producible since it needs no extra fitting means. Further, it can be easily attached in the installation process of the vending machine, and after the attachment, it is fixed surely at the foot part 13 by the self-weight of the vending machine.
