PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject preparation capable of reducing the distribution cost, not occupying much space when arranged at a store, having benefit and convenience in use, capable of being readily made into a window washer solution by making the preparation include at least a carbonate, an organic acid and a surfactant. SOLUTION: This preparation comprises (A) a carbonate which is preferably sodium bicarbonate, etc., (B) an organic acid which is preferably citric acid, etc., and (C) a surfactant which is preferably a sodium alkylbenzenesulfonate, etc. Preferably the preparation contains further (D) neutral anhydrous Glauber's salt and (E) a polyethylene glycol. The formulation ratio of the preparation is 20-40 wt.% of the component A, 25-40 wt.% of the component B, 1-10 wt.% of the component C, 0-53 wt.% of the component D and 1-10 wt.% of the component E. The preparation will not stain a load placed in a trunk of automobile even if stored for spare use in the trunk.
