<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment which has a high corering power and an excellent look and can be industrially produced easily by carrying out titanium oxide coating on a synthesized fluorine gold mica particle in which a part of Al and/or Si, which is the central atom coordinating to an oxygen tetrahedral, is replaced by Fe. SOLUTION: A synthesized fluorine gold mica to be used is shown as the formula: KMg3AlSi3O3gF2. A part of Al and/or Si of this, which is the central atom coordinating to an oxygen tetrahedral, is to be replaced by Fe. The amount of Fe for the replacement is preferably 1-10 wt.% of the weight of the synthesized mica. This Fe-replaced synthesized fluorine gold mica is obtained by, for example, mixing SiO, Al2O3, MgO, FeO and potassium silicofluoride in the composition ratios of the mica to be obtained, then heating and melting the mixture, cooling and crystallizing it and finally crashing it. This synthesized fluorine gold mica is coated with a titanium oxide, preferably rutile titanium dioxide, in the thickness of preferably about 90 nm to obtain a gold color.</p> |
