PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the constructing method of a tank roof in which workability in the case of the connection of the tank roof can be improved regardless of a tank shape and the deformation of the tank roof can be inhibited. SOLUTION: In the constructing method of the tank roof 1 in which a temporary roof 3 for ensuring sealing between the tank roof 1 and a tank interior wall 2a is installed at the periphery of the tank roof 1 assembled on a bottom section in a tank body 2, the tank roof 1 is lifted by air pressure and the tank roof 1 side and the tank body 2 side are connected, a scaffolding is mounted previously on the temporary roof 3, and the scaffolding is utilized in the case of the connection of the tank roof 1 side and the tank body 2 side.
