PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly execute an initial filling operation of filling an ink into an ink channel elongating from an ink cartridge to a recording head. SOLUTION: A power source off timer 34 for starting a timing operation at the time of an operation of turning off a power source switch 33, and turning off a breaker 31 after a predetermined time is provided. Therefore, even in the case a user executes an operation of turning off the power source switch 33 during the execution of an initial filling operation for filling an ink into an ink channel elongating from an ink cartridge to a recording head, supply of the operation power source of a recording apparatus is continued until the initial filing operation is finished so that the initial filling operation can be achieve certainly. |
