PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet delivery device that can change the moving direction of its stack tray depending on the curling direction of paper sheets. SOLUTION: The paper sheet delivery device has an opening 25 through which paper sheets P are delivered out, a stack tray 27 for receiving, in a stack, the paper sheets P delivered from the ejection opening 25, a drive motor that, every time a preset number of paper sheets P are stacked on the stack tray 27, moves the stack tray 27 so that the paper sheets P are first registered and next their top surface is positioned at a prescribed height, and control means for changing the direction in which the drive motor moves the stack tray 27, in dependence on the curling direction of the paper sheets P.
