PURPOSE: Oar structure of a slide type is provided to propel a boat with minimized exercise amount at the same time as propelling a boat in a visional direction of a person. CONSTITUTION: At specific positions of a boat(11), a rail(12) of a specific length is arranged and a slide(13) reciprocates along the rail. In upper and lower sides toward the boat of the slide, plural rollers(14) are fixed to actively reciprocate without rub-friction over the rail. On a side facing outward, a rotatable blade(17) rotating pivotally around a rotatable shaft pin(16) and a stopper(18) limiting a rotational angle are installed. Upon propulsion, a handle(15) is pulled to move in the same direction as the slide integrated with the handle. A portion of the blade(17) sinking in water having the rotatable axle pin as a rotational shaft is interrupted with rotation by an upper portion of blade caused by the stopper(18) when rotating in a reverse direction of movement of slide caused by resistance of water. Therefore, the blade(17) moves in a movement direction of the slide as well to push water for propelling the boat(11).
