FRAME RELAY PROCESSOR BOARD ASSEMBLY OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION EXCHANGE

PURPOSE: A frame relay processor board assembly of a mobile communication exchange is provided to supply a wireless data exchange service by interworking with a data network such as a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) network. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(50) composed of a master-slave duplexing structure performs an SMC(Serial Message Control) function and a GPIP(General Purpose Input/output Port) control function, and controls an FRPA(Frame Relay Processor board Assembly). A local memory(60) mounts a storage of data for processing a layer 3 protocol and a firmware such as a bug firmware and supports a hardware initialization and an OS(Operating System) interworking, under control of the CPU(50). A duplexing controller(70) controls a duplexing operation of the FRPM. A VME(Versa Module European) interface composed of duplexing VME buses of self/pair sides processes a layer 3 protocol function, under control of the CPU(50). An interrupt processor(90) manages interrupt resources of the FRPA. An RS-232(Recommended Standard-232) interface(100) interfaces the interrupt processor(90) with a terminal as an RS-232.
