An end carboxyl bearing reactive vinyl monomer represented by the formula: <IMAGE> (I) wherein R1 is hydrogen or methyl group; R2 is a bivalent aliphatic hydrocarbon having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, a bivalent alicyclic hydrocarbon having 6 to 7 carbon atoms, phenylene substituted with halogen, sulfo or carboxyl group; A is a repeating unit of the formula: <IMAGE> R3 is ethylene or propylene; R4 is an alkylene having 2 to 7 carbon atoms; R5 is an alkylene having 2 to 5 carbon atoms; m is an integer of 1 to 10 and n is an integer of 2 to 50. The present reactive vinyl monomer is very useful as a constituting unit of vinyl resin. |
