PURPOSE: A power supply circuit is provided to supply an operating voltage to a micro-computer and a remote control receiving portion when a remote control signal is received without an additional back-up battery. CONSTITUTION: The power supply circuit includes a micro-computer(10), a remote control receiving portion(11), a main power supply portion(12), a first power supply portion(14), a remote control signal detection portion(15), a power supply control portion(16), a switching portion(17) and a power supply disconnection control portion(18). The micro-computer controls the operation of an equipment. The remote control receiving portion transfers a received remote control signal to the micro-computer. The main power supply portion supplies a main power for a load of the equipment and supplies an operating voltage for the micro-computer and the remote control receiving portion. The frist main power supply portion converts an AC voltage into a DC voltage. The remote control signal detection portion receives the DC voltage and detects the remote control signal. The power supply control portion provides the DC voltage to the main power supply portion when the remote control signal detection portion detects the remote control signal. The switching portion provides the DC voltage to the main power supply portion in response to an output of the power supply control portion. The power supply disconnection control portion diconnect the switching portion to the power supply by stopping the operation of the power supply control portion in response to the output of the micro-computer.
