PURPOSE: A file for keeping a document is provided to keep a document for a long time by interfering the alien substance as dust, which flows in from the upper side, and by preventing osmosis of the moisture efficiently. CONSTITUTION: The file for keeping the document includes a front cover(10), a rear cover(20), a connecting member(30), an upper part connecting member(41), an inserting piece(71) and a uniting piece(72). The front cover(10), the rear cover(20), an upper cover and the upper part connecting member(41) are composed as a body in the center of the connecting member(30). The inserting piece(71) is inserted into balls for the file composed on the upper step of the front cover(10) and the uniting piece(72) is firmly united with the book file.
