METHOD FOR PREPARING LIME MILK USING WASTE MATTER OF SHELL

PURPOSE: A method for preparing calcium hydroxide by using wastes of shells is provided, which recycles various wastes of shells such as oyster shells, scallop shells, pearl shells, ark shells, short-necked clams and the like. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) calcining the wastes of shells containing oyster shells at a temperature of 800-1,000 deg.C to prepare quicklime; (ii) pulverizing the quicklime into a size of not more than 300 micrometers; and (iii) hydrating the pulverized quicklime by adding 6.5-12.9 grams of water to 20 grams of the wastes of shells to prepare a powder state calcium hydroxide or hydrating the pulverized quicklime by adding 400-600 grams of water to 200 grams of the wastes of shells to prepare a calcium hydroxide suspension.
