PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying tool for drying a sheet-shaped object speedily. SOLUTION: A width spreading member 1 is provided with either clips 2 or clip fastener parts 3 or both of them. The width spreading member 1 enlarges the interval of a sheet-shaped object so that its superposed parts may not come into tight contact with each other at the time of hanging the sheet-shaped object on a clothespole or clothesline for drying. The width spreading member 1 may be formed freely in a rod shape, a plate shape, a linear shape, a curved shape, or the like.
