PURPOSE: A manufacturing method and an apparatus for an earthenware are provided to mature the stored food and keep fresh while the air goes through the earthenware having minute porosity. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method for an earthenware comprises the steps of; kneading by ripening the second clay; making a form and baking without glaze; applying heat for 10-14 hours at temperatures of 400-450°C; applying heat for 15-18 hours at temperatures of 800-850°C; heating for 10-12 hours at temperatures of 850-1200°C during supplying the bay salt; and heating for 2-4 hours at temperatures of 1260-1280°C without bay salt. A manufacturing apparatus for an earthenware comprises the back of kiln(10) that is formed in the shape of an arc, and a floor of kiln(30). The back of kiln is made of soil without brick and has numerous fire holes(11). And the floor of kiln is made of fire brick and the fore end of kiln floor forms an entrance.
