PURPOSE: A drum of cooling device for a wheel brake is provided to prevent the deterioration of a brake performance; a tire breakdown resulting from the heat and the life reduction of parts, by cooling a frictional heat between a lining and a drum. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor is equipped in a drum and detects the temperature of the drum when a brake is operated. An ECU compares the temperature signal to the fixed value. An actuator is operated by the signal decided by the ECU. An air tube(13) injects the pressed air of an air tank into the drum by the actuator. A motor(M) is equipped on the actuator and has a rotary shaft(21). A body(24) is equipped on the actuator and has an air inlet(22) and an air outlet(23). A rotary plate(25) is connected with the rotary shaft and forms several air holes(25a). A cap(26), which is joined with several body holes(24a) and the air outlet, connects the air tube with the actuator.
