DAMPING STRUCTURE OF AXIAL-TYPE OPTICAL PICK-UP ACTUATOR

PURPOSE: A damping structure of an axial-type optical pick-up actuator is provided for generating enough damping force with respect to a focusing direction and tracking direction irrespective of a fabrication state of each part. CONSTITUTION: One end of a rotation shaft(30) is fixed at a lens holder(40), and a center portion of the same is guided by a yoke(10). A piston(31) is formed of a horizontal plate(32) fixed at the other end of the rotation shaft(30) and having a horizontal plan surface, and a vertical plate(34) having a vertical direction surface. A damping casing(60) is received in the interior of the piston(31) and is fixed at the yoke(10). First air passing hole(33) and second air passing hole(35) are formed in the horizontal plate(32) and the vertical plate(34).
