Repairing plastic lens frames, using acetate mould pieces to encapsulate the break region with acetone insoluble polymer

Acetate mould pieces (A) are used to encapsulate the break region with an acetone-insoluble polymer material. An assembly for repairing plastic lens frames comprises applying acetate pieces inside grooved or pinned moulds over the surface of the break and encapsulating the break regions with an acetone-insoluble polymer material.
