A radio receiver circuit (104) and a radio receiver circuit (105) receive a radio communication signal from a mobile station (109) and a calibration signal from a CDMA radio signal transmitter (110) for CAL through their respective receiving antennas (102, 103), and downconvert the received signals. A processor B (107) for CDMA signals (for CAL) monitors the downconverted calibration signals to measure characteristic errors of the receiver circuits and stores the measured characteristic errors in a correction table of record means (109). At the same time that the CDMA signal processor B (107) begins monitoring, a processor A (106) for CDMA signals (for communication) demodulates the downconverted CDMA communication signal from the mobile station (109) based on the characteristic errors stored in the correction table.
