PURPOSE: A method for determining a voice interval for a voice recognizing system is provided for determining threshold value based when a voice interval is detected in a voice recognizable system in accordance with an input level of an input voice. CONSTITUTION: A window is covered on an inputted signal and is divided by the frame(S10). An input energy is computed in each frame(S11). It is checked whether the inputted signal is a first n frame or not(S12). As a result of the check, if the inputted signal is the first n frame, an average energy Pavg, a standard deviation value Psd, and a first threshold value Pthr1 are computed based on Equation 1(S13). It is checked whether the currently inputted energy is larger than the first threshold value or not(S14).
