The linear sliding bearing has a running rail (1), slide (2) and a sliding shoe (4). A profiled bar is used with a carrier pedestal with curved U-shaped side legs (10). The slide (2) is within a break in the legs (10), clipped into a two-part plastics sliding shoe. The sliding shoe (4) has a base plate with an opening for the inserted slide (2), and a holding plate which can be clipped to the base plate with an opening to be gripped by the slide profile. The base and holding plates are of plastics.
