<p>Compsn. for coating PVC profiles comprises: (A) a binder; (B) a crosslinking agent; (C) a finely divided thermoplastic resin, opt. with pigments, dyes and fillers; and (D) a solvent. The binder is such that additives and plasticisers in the PVC can permeate through the paint film formed by cross-linking the compsn., while giving an adherent film on the profile. (A) opt. contains OH and/or COOH gps., and is of polyacrylate, epoxy, polyether, polyester, caprolactone or vinyl type. Esp. (A) is a blend of a resin (A1) with low branching and a chlorinated vinyl resin (A2), both contg. OH and/or COOH gps. Partic. (A1) is a polyester and (A2) a vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, both contg. OH gps.. (B) is a non-blocked polyisocyanate. (C) is finely divided polyamide powder.</p> |
