PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote liquefaction and absorption of gasoline vapor, while influences on combustion control of an engine is precluded. SOLUTION: First ventilation lines La and Lb fitted on the way with a vapor control valve 13 and leading to the space in a fuel tank 11, a second ventilation line Lc leading to an oil supply pipe 11a and a purge line Ld fitted on the way with a vacuum pump 14 are connected with a vessel 12 in which an adsorbing substance S is accommodated, and the purge line Ld is inserted into a gas-liquid contacting cylinder 15 installed in the tank 11 and with the top closed and the bottom leads to the tank via a check valve 23, wherein the tank 11 is furnished internally with a suction chamber 15a leading to the top of the contacting cylinder 15 via a thin tube 15c, and in this chamber 15a, a tip nozzle (n) of a return line Lg is located. When the engine is in operation, gasoline vapor is separated from the adsorbing substance by the vacuum pump and sent to the connecting cylinder 15, while the liquid gasoline which returned through the line Lg is injected into the suction chamber, and with the negative pressure generated there, the gasoline in the contacting cylinder 15 is sucked up for replacement. and the gasoline vapor is liquefied and absorbed in the liquid gasoline.
