PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the harvesting accuracy with a harvesting means attached to a mobile part traveling while striding over a ridge of a harvester for vegetables with the formed head and capable of digging up harvests and gathering the harvests. SOLUTION: This apparatus is obtained by installing a rolling fulcrum 36 in the left and right center on a mobile part, supporting a harvesting means 6 on the rolling fulcrum so as to be shakable, arranging the rolling fulcrum in the left and right central part of the harvesting means 6, aligning the rolling fulcrum with a transmitting pipe 41 housing a transmission shaft 41a for driving the harvesting means 6 and further arranging profiling members 35 for profiling the ridge surface shape at the front of the harvesting means 6 in a walking type vegetable harvester equipped with the harvesting means 6 arranged on the mobile part traveling while striding over a ridge.
