PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve for a direct injection engine capable of forming a mixture suitable for ignition when used for a direct injection engine. SOLUTION: A spray condition becomes different between in directions of injection center line and others by changing condition of at least one of three properties, density, atomization, and penetrating force, of fuel spray toward a spark plug 23. When used for a direct injection engine, low emission and high power is possible because the spark plug 23 is smolder-resisting and combustion is stable.
