PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke pushing-out apparatus capable of taking proper action, preventing damage of inner wall of a coke oven and improving operability and workability by providing a means, etc., judging whether re- pushing out action by pusher is possible or not. SOLUTION: This apparatus pushes out red-hot cokes in a coke oven by an induction motor 141 to which a secondary resistor 44 having plural notch positions is connected and a pusher 12 driven by the induction motor 141. The apparatus is equipped with a reaction force detecting means for detecting reaction force which the pusher 12 receives and a re-pushing out action judging means for judging whether re-pushing out action by the pusher 12 is possible or not according to whether reaction force detected when movement of the pusher 12 is stopped by the reaction-detection means is more than predetermined threshold value or not. Furthermore, the reaction force-detecting means is preferably an observer of the reaction force having a speed-detecting means, etc., for detecting rotation speed of the induction motor 141.
