PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and make lightweight the structure of the device for controlling a running web end position. SOLUTION: In the control device for the running web end for a rotary press with a web feed part which changes the proceeding direction of traveling papers 3a to be fed out of a paper feed device with the help of a turning bar 4 and feeds the running web 3a to a printing unit 1, the web end position of the running web 3a past the turning bar 4 is detected using a sensor, and the actuation of a turning bar moving mechanism 30 is controlled by a control means based on detection information to be supplied by the sensor and the position of the turning bar 4 in the web width direction is structurally controlled.
