PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make performable a superior recording even with high recording frequencies by high densification of a recording medium. SOLUTION: In the magnetic head 1, a pair of magnetic core halves are joined and a magnetic gap is formed. Further, the head is equipped with a magnetic core 3 in which a lead wire is wound on each magnetic core half and a terminal 4 which is constituted by electrically connecting a magnetic head base 2 which is electrically connected to the magnetic core 3 and which supports the magnetic core 3 and the magnetic core 3 with a metallic ball.
