摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate starting control and improve the durability of a V-belt, by combining a motor for starting, a motor for power generation, and a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: This driving mechanism is provided with a continuously variable transmission 10 formed out of an input pulley 13 which is connected to an engine 1, an output pulley 14 which is connected to axles 26, 27, and a V-belt 15 which is wound around both the pulleys, a motor 28 for starting which is mounted between the output pulley 14 of the continuously variable transmission 10 and the axles 26, 27, a motor 3 for generation whose rotor is directly-driven by the engine 1, and a clutch 6 switching power transmission from the engine 1 to the continuously variable transmission 10. Starting operation is conducted by a motor 28 and, at a speed beyond the prescribed value, the clutch 6 is engaged, thereby conducting transfer to a running condition by means of engine driving.</p>
