PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a mother-board having a plurality of slots and a plurality of highways for package mount. SOLUTION: This electronic exchange includes a mother-beard 31, a central processing unit 33 that is connected to the mother-board 31 via an interface cable 41, two or more cable connection sections 35A, 35B that are provided in the mother-board 31 and connected to an interface cable, connection detection sections 37A, 37B that are provided to each cable connection section, detects whether or not the connection is normal when the interface cable is connected to a corresponding cable connection section and output a link end signal when normal, and a slot connection section 39 that selectively interconnects a plurality of highways and a plurality of slots so as to obtain a predetermined connection relation in response to a link end signal state outputted from the connection detection sections 37A, 37B.
