PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home page generation system or the like which easily generates a home page. SOLUTION: A server 2 receives an electronic mail sent from terminals 1a to 1n through a network 3 and reads the destination of this electronic mail and discriminates whether this electronic mail is an ordinary electronic mail or an electronic mail for home page generation in accordance with the read destination. If it is discriminated that this electronic mail is an electronic mail for home page generation, the server 2 reads data of this electronic mail and determines CGI for home page generation on the basis of a fixed format used for generation of the electronic mail. The server 2 executes the determined CGI to generate an HTML document representing a home page on the basis of data of the electronic read by itself.
