PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and the method for adding specified information to images while minimizing image quality degradation. SOLUTION: CLK1-CLK3 are generated by changing the phase of a CLK0 generated from an oscillator 415 for a prescribed amount in phase change circuits 416-418 and they are selected in a selector 409 and turned to the reference clock of triangular waves in pulse width modulation. In this case, by providing regularity in the change amount of a pixel position for each line of a formed image beforehand, additional information is detected by analyzing the pixel position of the formed image. |
