ATTITUDE HOLDING FOR PANTOGRAPH COVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold the attitude of a bellows-shaped cover for attaining intended objectives (reduction in aerodynamic noise and anti-snow damage measure) even in the case of running against a wind direction. SOLUTION: With air tightness almost maintained even in a bellowws-shaped inner cover 18 and the articulated part 5a of a Z-shaped pantograph 1, the dynamic pressure of running wind caused by running is led into the inside of a cover 16 covering the articulated part 5a from an upper frame part 41 or a lower frame part 42, so that the internal pressure acting upon the inner surface of the bellows-shaped inner cover 18 can be increased. Therefore, the pressure acting upon the outer surface of the inner cover 18 and the internal pressure acting upon the inner surface of the inner covering 18 are almost balanced to hold the attitude of the inner cover 18. It is thus possible to ensure the attainment of the intended objectives of the inner covering 18.
