THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY SYSTEM AND PROJECTOR DEVICE USED FOR SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional display system which is large in the quantity of output light and can displays a three-dimensional image of high quality and a projector device used for it. SOLUTION: The polarizing direction of a 1st image light among image lights of the primary colors synthesized by a synthesizing means of a 1st projector is made orthogonal to the polarizing directions of other 2nd and 3rd image lights and the polarizing direction of a 1st image light among image lights of the primary colors synthesized by a synthesizing means of a 2nd projector is made orthogonal to the polarizing directions of other 2nd and 3rd image light and the polarizing direction of the 1st image light of the 1st projector. Consequently, a three-dimensional display can be made by using the 1st and 2nd projectors where the image lights of the primary colors do not have the same polarizing direction.
