PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance charge/discharge characteristics in a lithium secondary battery provided with positive and negative electrodes and a nonaqueous electrolyte. SOLUTION: In this lithium secondary battery, an active material of positive and negative electrodes 1 and 7 uses composite sulfides expressed by a formula Ti1-XSY or composite sulfides containing a lithium. In the formula, M is at least one kind of Cu, Zn, Cr, Mn, Co and Ni and X and Y satisfy 0<X<=0.18 and 1.65<=Y<=2.25. |
