<p>The oscillation damping device uses an oscillation damper (5), between the engine (1) and the transmission (11), coupled at its output to a torque buffer (23). This has a stator (25) and a rotor (31) attached to the output element (19) of the oscillation damper (5), acting as a synchronous machine. The period of the torque variations acting on the rotor (31) due to the controlled magnetic field is matched to the period of the ic engine ignition sequence for compensating the vibration due to the latter. Pref. a control circuit (37) controls the phase and/or amplitude of the current fed to the stator windings. ADVANTAGE - Ensures smooth torque output.</p> |
