ULTRAVIOLET HARDENED RESIN COMPOSITION FOR OPTICAL FIBER RIBBON COATING

PURPOSE: An ultraviolet hardened resin composition is provided which uses a proper amount of oligomer B to attain ribbon coating resin with high young modulus and high extension modulus. CONSTITUTION: The ultraviolet hardened resin composition comprises the components of: 30-80wt% of a compound wherein polyurethane (meta)acrylate oligomer A synthesized from polyether class polyol, diisocyanate compound and (meta)acrylate compound with hydroxide radical and polyurethane (meta)acrylate oligomer B synthesized from polyether class polyol, diisocyanate compound, single molecule diol and acryl monomer with hydroxide radical are mixed; 20-60wt% of reactive monomer diluent including more than 1 acryloil radicals; and 0.5-10wt% of more than 1 light initiators wherein initiation is done by ultraviolet.
