Headset for headmounted display

A headset for a headmounted display. The headset provides two contact points at each side of the wearer's head. The two contact points on each side of the wearer's head provide a greater distribution of the force due to torque caused by the weight of the display module and the length of the boom and by movement of the wearer's head. A rotatable boom on the headset carries an image display module.
