PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a modified silicone-based sealing material for building use having excellent application workability and durability of the appearance. SOLUTION: This modified silicone-based sealing material for building use contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of an organic rubber polymer having hydroxyl group and/or hydrolyzable group bonded to Si atom and containing at least one Si- containing group crosslinkable by the formation of a siloxane bond, (B) 4-10 pts.wt. of glass balloons, (C) 3-7 pts.wt. of an epoxy resin, (D) 3-7 pts.wt. of an air-cure type substance, (E) 3-7 pts.wt. of a photosetting resin, (F) 0.3-0.7 pt.wt. of a benzotriazole-type ultraviolet absorber, (G) 0.6-1.2 pts.wt. of a hindered phenol-type antioxidation agent, (H) 90-100 pts.wt. of a phthalate-type plasticizer, (I) 180-220 pts.wt. of a filler, (J) 1-2 pts.wt. of an anti-sagging assistant, (K) 3-4 pts.wt. of a bivalent tin compound and (L) an organic amine cocatalyst.
