SPIRAL TYPE MEMBRANE MODULE AND OPERATION AND WASHING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost, easily washable and highly reliable spiral type membrane module, and its operation method. SOLUTION: The spiral type membrane module is formed by loading a spiral type membrane element 1 in a pressure container 10. The spiral type membrane element 1 is constituted by covering a spiral-shaped membrane element consisting of a plurality of independent or continuous envelope-like membranes on the outer peripheral surface via raw water spacers with a separation membrane and further covering the resultant assembly with an outer peripheral part flow path material. A raw water inlet 13 is provided on the pressure container 10 and a piping 19 for feeding raw water is connected to it. The piping 19 is further connected to a piping 20 for discharging washed liquid.
