PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of efficiently manufacturing a precipitation strengthening type Ni-Fe-base superalloy satisfying required tensile characteristics. SOLUTION: %Ti (Ti content, wt.%), %Nb (Nb content, wt.%), R (average cooling rate from solution heat treatment temperature to 600 deg.C, deg.C/min), T1 (first-stage aging treatment temperature, deg.C), and t1 (first-stage aging treatment time, hr) are set up so that, according to the required tensile characteristics at room temperature, respective values of A, B, C, and D which are computed by the undermentioned equaions satisfy A >= tensile stress, B >=0.2% yield stress, C >= rupture ductility, and D >= rupture drawing: A=230(%Ti)+110(% Nb)-0.50(R)+3.2(T1)+7.2(t1)-1800; B=240(%Ti)+190(%Nb)-0.10(R)+4.4(T 1)+9.4(t1)-3200; C=-18(%Ti)-11(%Nb)+0.04(R)-0.4(T1)-0.8(t1)+370; and D=-24(%Ti)-8(%Nb)+0.08(R)-0.6(T1)-0.9(t1)+500. Because manufacturing conditions can be set up by using the equations and inequalities, the precipitation strengthening type Ni-Fe-base superalloy satisfying required tensile characteristics can be obtained efficiently without vast preliminary experiments.
