PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door structure for an automobile capable of realizing certain sealing in a door module. SOLUTION: A door structure for an automobile comprises a base plate 2 supporting a driving mechanism for the elevation control of a window panel movable between a door outer panel 3 and a door inner panel 4 on the room outer side OS surface 2a, and a door lock device detachably engaged on the automobile structure is supported on the door inner panel 4. In this door structure, wherein a closed loop-like seal member 9 for ensuring the water tightness according to contact with the door inner panel 4 with pressure is disposed on the room outer side OS surface 2a of the base plate 2, an interlocking means 27 to be interlocked so as to detach the engagement of the door lock device is disposed outside the seal line by the seal member 9, and an operating means 28 interlocked with the interlocking means 27 so as to release the engagement of the door lock device is disposed on the room inner side IS surface 2b of the base plate 2 and inside the seal line by the seal member 9.
