CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR FLOOR MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect floor materials together simply and quickly by providing an elastic projection at the side end section of one floor material, and providing a recess to be elastically inserted with the projection on the side end section of the other floor material. SOLUTION: A floor material 1 is fixed on a floor substrate 12 by fixing tools such as nails or an adhesive in advance, then a right floor material 1 is slid on a floor substrate 12 and inserted while a coupling lug 10 on the tip of an elastic projection 2 is warped in elastic contact with the lower face of the upper face extension section 6 of the right floor material 1. When the coupling lug 10 of the elastic projection 2 reaches the recess 3 of the right floor material 1, the coupling lug 10 at the tip section of the projection 2 is elastically inserted into the recess 3 by the elastic force of the projection 2. The projection 2 may be formed integrally with a main body 5 or separately. The elastic projection 2 is elastically inserted into the recess 3 for connecting the floor materials 1 together, thereby the floor materials 1 can be connected together simply and quickly.
