<p>PURPOSE:To improve the initial characteristic and the utilization factor by adding nickel salt solution to hydrogen occlusive alloy powder, and thereafter, dipping it in the alkali solution to coat the hydrogen occlusive alloy powder with nickel hydroxide coating film and manufacture an electrode, and thereafter, electrifying in the discharging direction. CONSTITUTION:In the case where AB2Laves phase mainly composed of Zr-Ni is used as a hydrogen occlusive alloy, when the nickel salt solution is added to the hydrogen occlusive alloy to form hydroxy acidic nickel on the surface of the alloy grain, contact to the surface of the hydrogen storage alloy is increased than the case of the simple mixture, and the surface of the hydrogen storage alloy is changed as same as the case of plating to improve the initial characteristic. Nickel hydroxide is doped with lithium by including lithium hydroxide in the alkali solution to improve the conductivity. Simultaneously, the improvement of the initial characteristic, which can not be obtained by only adding nickel powder, can be achieved.</p> |
