PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a key top difficult to be scratched and difficult to slide by making a display part easy to be seen and providing flexible touch by laminating elastic high polymer coating layers on an upper surface of the key top. SOLUTION: In a push button switch constituted by combining a molded resin key top body 1 and a key pad 2 made of silicone rubber, elastic high polymer coating layers 3 are further laminated on the upper surface. The push button switch in which a display part is provided on the upper surface of the key top and elastic high polymer coating layers are laminated on the upper surface and the push button switch in which elastic high polymer coating layers are laminated on a surface of the key top body 1 of the push button switch constituted by combining the molded resin key top body 1 and the key pad 2 made of silicone rubber are desirable. The elastic high polymer coating layer 3 can be laminated by applying and hardening unhardened liquid and can be laminated by coating elastic films. The elastic high polymer coating layers 3 having thickness of 5 to 200μm and hardness of 95 deg. or below in Shore A are desirable to be used. As liquid resin, urethane based resin is suitable from the viewpoint of elastic feeling and wear resistance.
