PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a combustion cylinder by providing a cylinder for combusting fuel, and means for supplying combustion gas with cooling air and blowing the cooling air toward the downstream side of the combustion cylinder thereby increasing the combustion region of fuel in the combustion cylinder. SOLUTION: Liquid fuel supplied under high pressure from a fuel tank 1A by means of a fuel pump 1B is injected by means of an injector 1 and combusted. A flange 6 being coupled with a combustion air pump 4 is abutted against the open edge of a combustion cylinder 2 which is coupled, on the downstream side, with a cooling air pump (cooling air supply means) 10 for lowering the blow-out temperature of combustion gas by supplying cooling air. A control means 15 operates the injector 1, the combustion air pump 4, the cooling air pump 10, and the like, to inject a small quantity of fuel and to supply combustion air. Since the blow-out temperature of combustion gas is lowered by supplying cooling air, the structure is simplified and a large volume of hot air having lowered temperature is supplied to a part being warmed.
