<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make small the capacity of an uninterruptible power source(UPS) which is a back up of an image processor in power failure in an image processor for a diagnostic imaging equipment. SOLUTION: In normal operation mode, an image processor operates on power sources 4 and 5, and in power failure and the boards 7-9 shift to a low power consumption mode, excepting indispensable minimum ores, and they operate on power from the power source 4. Through communication between boards using memories 7c-9c for communication, the boards 7-9 can easily perform shifting between the normal operation mode and the low power consumption mode, and always only the minimum boards are in normal operation mode, and they perform finish processing individually. At this time, the image processor 1 sharply reduce its power consumption as compared with the normal operation mode, and it follows that it can operate on only the power source 4 capable of receiving the backup of UPS 3. Hereby, the capacity of the UPS 3 required for the image processor 1 can be suppressed.</p> |
