<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit a spring which is for storing a chip capacitor in a motor. SOLUTION: A small motor includes a tubular housing with a closed end and an opened end. The opened end is sealed by an end cap assembly. The end cap assemble includes an end cap for holding two motor terminals 30 and 32 and two brush assemblies 48 and 50. A chip capacitor 34 is connected to the terminals of both motors. The positive motor terminal 30 is connected to a positive brush assembly 48 with a choke 36, while a negative motor terminal 32 is connected to a negative brush assembly 50 with a PTC 38. In addition, the negative motor terminal 32 is also connected to the motor housing with a ground trap 104 pinched between the end cap 26 and the motor housing.</p> |
